That hands-on craft instilled a lifelong appreciation for material, proportion, and thoughtful detail. While not every home we design is brick, the lessons learned from working with it — its rhythm, texture, and timeless quality — continue to influence how we shape every space, creating homes that feel grounded, intentional, and enduring.
Before starting Traditional Touch Design, the owner served as an intelligence analyst in the National Guard. That experience trained him to look for patterns, understand constraints, and communicate clearly—skills that now shape every project. He studies each site carefully, thinks through how a home will actually be built, and anticipates questions before they arise in the field. The result is design work that’s truly built to be built, with fewer surprises, more predictable budgets, and a smoother path from early ideas to a finished, livable home.
